The National Center for Hospitality Studies is a part of Sullivan University, the largest private college or university in Kentucky. Located in Louisville, the school features career-focused programs with small class sizes. Associate and diploma programs offer classes Monday through Thursday, with Friday reserved for independent studies. Learn more
Bachelor - Hospitality Management
The program is designed particularly for those who are employed and wish to continue their formal education to open doors for future advancement. This 18-month program prepares graduates for management careers with hotels, motels and restaurants, small and large, worldwide. This program is unique in that it combines training in the travel industry with business skills, thus qualifying graduates for more than one area of employment. Associate - Culinary Arts

Associate - Professional Catering
Designed to prepare a student for a challenging career in professional catering, this program teaches all aspects of the industry, from food preparation to setting up a small catering business. Diploma - Professional Baker
This program is a quick, straight-line approach to an entry-level position in the baking profession. It is designed to give the student a working knowledge of the procedures, ingredients, and "do's" and "don'ts" inherent in successfully functioning in a variety of baking environments including in-store and independent retail bakeries as well as large commercial and domestic establishments. Diploma - Professional Cook
The Professional Cook is the mainstay of all commercial food preparation. Professional cooks deal literally "hands-on" with food, its storage and cleanliness, as well as its preparation and presentation utilizing a variety of styles and techniques. The Professional Cook program differs from the associate degree program specifically because it does not emphasize the general studies courses necessary for the degree.
